WEST REPORTS

ALAN HENRY: Water lightly stained; 83 degrees; 0.78’ low.  Black bass are good on white buzzbaits early and late in day, and white spinnerbaits and black/chartreuse jigs along timber lines. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. 

ARROWHEAD: Water lightly stained; 83 degrees; 4.12’ low. Black bass are good on topwater frog baits in surface vegetation and spinnerbaits along rocky points. Crappie are fair under east side bridges and off the derricks. White bass are good shallow while chasing shad. Catfish are good on juglines and drift fishing with shad or punch bait. 

COLORADO CITY: Water clear; 79 degrees; 6.63' low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow.

FT. PHANTOM HILL: Water clear; 78 degrees; 0.71’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on live baits. Catfish are fair on live baits.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water lightly stained; 82 degrees; 1.51’ low. Black bass are fair on minnows, shad-colored crankbaits and spinnerbaits along grass lines, and red soft plastics worked along reeds. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass and hybrid stripers are good on live baits. Catfish are good on live baits.

NASWORTHY: Water lightly stained; 77 degrees. Black bass are fair. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Redfish are fair on live baits. White bass and striped bass are fair on live baits. Catfish are fair on live baits.

OAK CREEK: Water lightly stained; 79 degrees; 1.45’ low. Black bass are fair. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on live baits.

O.H. IVIE: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 11.36’ low. Black bass are fair on topwater lures, shad-colored spinnerbaits, and baby bass soft jerkbaits worked along tree lines. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live baits and crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live baits and shad-colored crankbaits along points. Channel catfish are good on live baits.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water stained 86 degrees; 1.12’ low. Black bass are slow on watermelon Senkos and deep-running shad-colored crankbaits along points and rock ledges in the south end of the reservoir. Crappie are poor on small jigs worked along deep wood structures in the Caddo Creek area. White bass are good on silver crankbaits and small white jigs in the mid-lake area early in the day and at night. Catfish are good on cut baits and liver along the river channel in the Rock Creek area.

SPENCE: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 50.6’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Striped bass and hybrid striper are slow. Catfish are slow.

STAMFORD: Water lightly stained; 78 degrees; 1.45’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White and striped bass are fair on live baits. Catfish are fair on live and prepared baits.

SWEETWATER: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 1.14’ low. Black bass are slow on live baits. Crappie are slow on live baits and jigs. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow on live baits.

WHITE RIVER: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 28.92’ low. Black bass are fair on black/blue jigs, white spinnerbaits or live baits along grass lines and points. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Walleye are fair on live baits. Channel catfish are fair on live baits.

WICHITA: Water turbid; 84 degrees; 1.06’ low. Crappie are slow near pavilion pilings and off dam. White bass and hybrid striped bass are fair on minnows or live shad in front of the spillway area. Channel catfish are fair drift fishing with shad and on trotlines. Boat launching is difficult due to low water conditions.
