PANHANDLE REPORTS

GREENBELT: Water lightly stained; 77 degrees; 26.67’ low. Black bass are good on topwater lures early and late in day, white spinnerbaits, and Carolina-rigged pumpkin soft plastic lizards around sandy humps and grass lines. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live baits and shad-colored crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live baits, shad-colored topwater lures, and crankbaits along grass lines. Walleye are good on live baits. Catfish are good on live bait. 

MACKENZIE: Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 74.14’ low. Black bass are fair on live baits, shad-colored spinnerbaits, and black neon soft plastics worked around stick-ups. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and striped bass are good on minnows and shallow diving crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait. Walleye are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut baits.

MEREDITH: Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 78.01’ low. Black bass are fair on topwater lures and white spinnerbaits along grass lines and points, and black/blue jigs along rocky points. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are fair on shad-colored spinnerbaits and live baits. Walleye are fair on live baits and shallow crankbaits along riprap. Channel catfish are good on live and cut baits.  Note: Boat launching is limited due to low water conditions.

PALO DURO: Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 58.18' low. Black bass are fair on live baits and dark jigs. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows. Smallmouth bass are fair on live baits. Walleye are fair on live bait and crankbaits. Channel catfish are good on cut baits.
