NORTH SABINE: Trout are good in the river on live shad. Trout are good around the islands for waders tossing topwaters. Redfish are good in the marsh on small topwaters.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout and redfish are good at the jetty on fresh shrimp. Topwaters against the rocks have worked as well. Redfish are fair to good under diving birds.

BOLIVAR: Trout, redfish and sand trout are good in the surf and around the pass. Redfish are good around Rollover Pass on croakers and live shrimp.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are fair to good on the shell for waders tossing limetreuse plastics. Trout are fair around the east shoreline shell on red shad plastics and topwaters. Redfish are good at the mouth of bayous on the falling tide on live bait.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good on the north shoreline on topwaters and plastics. Trout are best while drifting deep shell on plastics and croakers. Redfish are fair to good at the mouths of the marsh on live shrimp.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout and sand trout are good in the surf on soft plastics. Trout are good off the spoil banks on croaker. Gafftop, sand trout, trout, redfish, sharks and whiting are good from the beachfront piers on live bait.

TEXAS CITY: Black drum and gafftop are fair to good around the rocks on shrimp. Trout are good at night under the lights on live shrimp and DOA Shrimp.  

FREEPORT: Trout, redfish and sand trout are good at San Luis Pass on live shrimp and plastics. Trout, sand trout, gafftop and sharks are good along the Surfside Beach on live bait.

EAST MATAGORDA: Trout are fair to good while drifting deep shell on live shrimp and topwaters. Waders have scored on the reefs. Redfish are good on the west end of the bay on live shrimp.

MATAGORDA: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline grass beds around Cotton's and Green's bayous on Bass Assassins, Sand Eel Jrs. and Trout Killers. Redfish are fair to good in Crab Lake on live shrimp.

PORT O'CONNOR: Trout are fair to good on the grass beds near Pass Cavallo on croakers and soft plastics. Trout are fair while drifting the flats on live shrimp under a popping cork.  Deep shell has produced good trout on croakers in Espiritu Santo Bay. Redfish and sharks are good on live shrimp and mullet at the jetty and in the surf.

ROCKPORT: Trout are good around Mud Island on She Pups and Super Spook Jrs. Trout are good on the reefs in St. Charles Bay, Mesquite Bay and Copano Bay on croakers. The outside of Traylor Island has produced trout on croakers and piggy perch.

PORT ARANSAS: Trout are fair to good along the drop-off of the Lydia Ann Channel on croakers and piggy perch. Trout, sand trout, gafftop and jack crevalle are good on croakers and shrimp at the jetty. Offshore is good for snapper, ling, amberjack and kingfish.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are good around the spoil islands on Gulps and live shrimp. Trout are good on the grass beds adjacent to the channel on piggy perch and live shrimp.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on piggy perch on the edge of the channel in the Landcut. Redfish are good on the sand on small topwaters. Trout are good on topwaters around shallow rocks.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels on the grass beds. Waders have taken redfish in the potholes on small topwaters. Offshore is good for red snapper, ling and kingfish.

SOUTH PADRE: Snook are good on topwaters and DOA Shrimp in South Bay and at the mouth of drains on the falling tide. Trout, jack crevalle, sand trout and Spanish mackerel are good at the jetty on live bait.

PORT ISABEL: Trout are good while drifting sand and grass on DOA Shrimp and Gulps. Redfish are fair to good while casting to potholes on She Pups, Super Spook Jrs. and gold spoons.
