CENTRAL
BASTROP: Water clear. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shrimp, minnows, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water clear; 80 degrees; 2.04’ low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and Rat-L-Traps around structure. Hybrid striper are fair on minnows and white riversides under lights at night. White bass are fair on minnows and white riversides under lights at night. Crappie are fair on minnows under lights at night. Channel catfish are good on trotlines baited with shrimp and stinkbait. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch, shad, and snails.

BROWNWOOD: Water clear; 82 degrees; 6.08’ low. Black bass are excellent on watermelon red and Redbug Bass Hogg inline buzzbaits, Texas Perch Persuader crankbaits, GrandeBass Baby Rattle Snakes, Finesse worms, and Honchos along shorelines and among rocks. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are excellent on Li’l Fishies and crankbaits off lighted docks at night and off points. Crappie are excellent on Li’l Fishies and tube jigs over brush piles in 8 – 15 feet. Channel catfish are good on cut bait over baited holes in 8 – 10 feet, and on nightcrawlers along shorelines. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with perch in the rivers in 6 – 18 feet.

BUCHANAN: Water clear; 82 degrees; 8.86’ low. Black bass are fair to good on flukes, white buzzbaits, Chug Bugs, and Texas rigged 5” watermelon candy Whacky Sticks in Morgan and Silver Creeks in 4 – 8 feet at first light. Striped bass to 26” are good on Rat-L-Traps, Rattlin' Rogues, and plastic swim baits in Silver Creek below the bridge. White bass are fair on Tiny Traps and 2 – 4” plastic swim baits in clear water creeks. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are good on liver, minnows, and dipbait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on goldfish and perch upriver.

CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 79 degrees; 1.08’ high. Black bass are fair on topwaters, watermelon candy flukes, and Whacky Sticks among flooded bushes and along grassy banks early. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are fair on JDC grubs, Gambler Crickets, and white crankbaits in 10 - 21 feet early. Crappie are fair on minnows and Curb's jigs in standing timber. Channel catfish are fair. Yellow and blue catfish are good on goldfish and perch upriver.

COLEMAN: Water fairly clear; 81 degrees; 8.07’ low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and chartreuse spinnerbaits and soft plastic worms. Hybrid striper are fair on live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows in 15 – 25 feet. Channel catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water clear; 84 degrees. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and watermelon gold Carolina rigged soft plastics in 12 – 18 feet off points, and on topwaters and buzzbaits early and late. Channel and blue catfish are fair on juglines baited with shrimp and cut shad.

GRANBURY: Water clear; 0.40’ low. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged soft plastic worms and lizards, and on shad colored crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on minnows and silver spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers, chicken livers, and frozen shrimp.

GRANGER: Water clear; 81 degrees; 1.90’ low. Black bass are good on Carolina rigged soft plastic worms. White bass are fair on slab spoons over main lake humps. Crappie are good on chartreuse jigs in 5 – 12 feet. Blue catfish are good on shad and prepared bait in shallow water. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.

LBJ: Water stained; 82 degrees; 0.30’ low. Black bass are fair on black/blue, oil Berkley Power worms, watermelon topwaters, and watermelon red Whacky Sticks in 5 - 12 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and watermelon jigs over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on minnows and stinkbait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 89 degrees; 0.36’ high. Black bass are good on white and chartreuse crankbaits near the dam. White bass are good on topwaters and diving Boogie Shad lures. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles in 12 – 16 feet. Channel catfish are fair on minnows, stinkbait, and cut shad. Blue catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with perch and goldfish. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with goldfish and perch along the creek channels.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 81 degrees; 1.92’ low. Black bass are slow. White bass are good on shad. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with cut shad. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 81 degrees; 0.17’ high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows early. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE: Water fairly clear; 82 degrees; 0.05’ high. Black bass are good on watermelon red and green pumpkin soft plastics. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on doughbait, chicken livers, and chicken bloodbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

TRAVIS: Water fairly clear; 82 degrees; 6.25’ low. Black bass are good on plum worms, smoke grubs, and bone topwaters in 10 – 25 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on chrome topwaters and white grubs in 10 – 30 feet. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on bloodbait and nightcrawlers in 25 – 40 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water stained; 82 degrees. Black bass are fair on shad. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.
