Black bass are fair to good on flukes, white buzzbaits, Chug Bugs and Texas rigged 5” watermelon/candy Whacky Sticks in Morgan and Silver Creeks in 2 - 8 feet at first light. Striped bass to 26” are good on Rat-L-Traps in Silver Creek below the bridge, and on plastic swim baits around Lighthouse Point at daylight. White bass are fair on Tiny Traps and 2” – 4” soft plastic swim baits in clear water creeks. Crappie are fair on pink/white and chartreuse Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows in clear water. Channel catfish are good on liver, minnows, and dip bait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on goldfish and perch upriver.

CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 82 degrees; 4.60’ low. Black bass are fair on JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters and watermelon/candy Flukes in flooded bushes and along shallow grass banks at sunrise, and later on Texas rigged blue flake worms and split shot Whacky Sticks along break lines. Striped bass are fair trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits over and around humps and jigging 1oz. Pirk Minnows at daylight. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are fair on smoke JDC grubs and 3/16oz. pumpkin Curb's jigs with matching JDC craw trailers in 12 - 28 feet early. Crappie are fair on minnows and Curb's jigs in standing timber. Channel catfish are fair on live bait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on goldfish and perch upriver.

COLEMAN: Water clear; 84 degrees; 3.27’ low. Black bass are good on watermelon red and watermelon seed soft plastic worms and lizards. Hybrid striper are fair on live bait and chartreuse striper jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) Water stained. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are excellent on trotlines baited with perch, and from the bank on rod and reel baited with perch.

FAYETTE: Water clear; 95 degrees. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits early and late. Channel and blue catfish are good on Black Saltys and cut shad over baited holes in the trees.

GRANBURY: Water clear; 1.42’ low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are fair on chartreuse soft plastics and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, nightcrawlers, and frozen shrimp.

GRANGER: Water clear; 84 degrees; 0.82’ low. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged soft plastic worms and jigs. White bass are good trolling Rat-L-Traps and crankbaits. Crappie are good on yellow marabou jigs in 6 – 15 feet. Blue catfish are good drifting shad across main lake flats. Yellow catfish are slow.
